Terms of Service.

1. This agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Kindred Forge, LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("we," "us," "our"), covering your use of LifeTLDR — our website, application, and related services (the "Service").

By creating an account, connecting a mailbox, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who may use LifeTLDR

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. LifeTLDR is built for parents and caregivers running a household, and it is intended for adults only. Children do not create accounts.

You may tell us about children in your household — a first name, a school, a practice time — and that information is yours to provide and yours to delete. See the Privacy Policy.

3. Your account

Keep your account information accurate and your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at howdy@lifetldr.com if you believe someone else has gained access to it.

Access is currently by invitation. Do not sell, share, or transfer your invitation or your account to anyone else.

4. What LifeTLDR is — and is not

LifeTLDR reads the mail you connect to it and produces summaries, calendar events, reminders, and action items. It uses automated systems, including large language models, to decide what matters and to describe it in plain language.

LifeTLDR does not provide medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and nothing it produces should be treated as such.

5. Accounts you connect

The Service works by accessing accounts you connect, such as Gmail and Google Calendar. By connecting an account you authorize us to access it as described in the Privacy Policy — reading your messages and their attachments and linked pages, applying LifeTLDR's organizing labels, and writing events to a dedicated LifeTLDR calendar in your own account.

You must own the account you connect, or be authorized to connect it. Do not connect a mailbox you do not control.

You can withdraw that authorization at any time by disconnecting the account in LifeTLDR or revoking access from your Google account permissions page. Doing so stops further access immediately, and will stop most of the Service from working.

6. Households and invitations

LifeTLDR is built to be shared. When you invite someone into your household, you are choosing to share your household profile and the summaries, events, and action items derived from it, at the permission level you set. They never get access to your mailbox.

Only invite people you intend to share that information with, and only people who have agreed to be invited. You are responsible for the invitations you send. Invitations expire after 14 days and you can revoke a pending one at any time.

Everyone in a household is bound by these Terms. Adding someone to your household does not enroll them in text messages — they provide their own number and their own consent. See the SMS Terms.

7. Email we send on your behalf

With the Google permission you grant at sign-in, LifeTLDR can send email from your own address. It does this only for things you ask for:

• Invitations to join your household
• Requests to share a household profile

That is the entire list. LifeTLDR does not send marketing from your address, does not message your contacts on its own initiative, and never emails your summaries to you or anyone else.

Separately, we may email you directly about your account — security notices, and the occasional notification that these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or the SMS Terms have changed. Those are service messages, not marketing, and they are part of having an account.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service unlawfully, or to harass, stalk, monitor, or surveil another person
• Connect a mailbox or calendar you do not own or are not authorized to connect
• Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as your own
• Scrape, crawl, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract our models, prompts, or source code
• Circumvent rate limits, invitation limits, or access controls, or create accounts by automated means
• Upload malware, or interfere with or place undue load on our infrastructure
• Use the Service to build a competing product from our outputs

We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates this section, that puts other users or the Service at risk, or that we are legally required to stop.

9. Your content

Your mail, your household profile, and everything derived from them remain yours. We claim no ownership.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service for you and the household members you have chosen to share with. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the retention described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Early access

LifeTLDR is in early access and under active development. Features may change, break, or be removed; summaries will improve but will not become perfect; and availability is not guaranteed. We may impose or adjust usage limits. Treat the Service accordingly, and keep the original messages that matter.

11. Fees

LifeTLDR is currently provided at no charge during early access. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you before any charge applies to your account, and you will be able to decline and stop using the Service. Your mobile carrier's message and data rates are always your own — see the SMS Terms.

12. Privacy

Our handling of your information is governed by the Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms. It describes what we collect, our use of Google user data under the Google API Services User Data Policy, our AI processing, and your rights.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that summaries will be accurate or complete, or that it will surface every message, date, or deadline that matters to you. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KINDRED FORGE, LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR MISSED APPOINTMENTS, DEADLINES, PAYMENTS, OR OBLIGATIONS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

These limits are a fundamental part of the bargain between us and apply even if a limited remedy fails of its essential purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kindred Forge, LLC and its members, officers, and contractors from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, your connection of an account you were not authorized to connect, or invitations you sent to people who did not want them.

16. Termination

You may stop using LifeTLDR at any time, disconnect your accounts, and ask us to delete your data by emailing howdy@lifetldr.com (see the Privacy Policy for what happens then).

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if your use creates risk or legal exposure, or if we discontinue the Service. Where circumstances allow, we will give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to export or retrieve what matters. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including 9, 13, 14, 15, and 18 — survive.

17. Changes

We may change the Service and these Terms. The current version and its effective date will always be posted at this URL. If we make material changes we will notify account holders by email or in-app notice before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not, stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and each of us waives any objection to venue there.

Before filing anything, please email howdy@lifetldr.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it with you. Most problems are a misunderstanding and a conversation is faster than a filing.

19. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and, if you enroll, the SMS Terms, are the entire agreement between us about the Service. If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Nothing here creates a partnership, agency, or employment relationship.
