1. About this program
LifeTLDR is a household assistant that reads the email and messages you connect to it and turns them into plain summaries, calendar events, and action items. This SMS program is an optional way to receive those notifications on your phone.
Messages you may receive include:
- Daily or morning summaries of what needs your attention
- Reminders about upcoming appointments, practices, and events
- Alerts when a form, permission slip, payment, or deadline is coming due
- Notices when something in your household's shared plan changes
- Account and security notifications related to your LifeTLDR account
You do not need to enroll in SMS to use LifeTLDR. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or of using the service.
2. How you opt in
You may enroll in LifeTLDR text messages in either of the following ways:
a) During signup or in your account settings
You enter your mobile number and check a separate, unchecked box that reads:
By checking this box, you agree to receive text messages from LifeTLDR at the mobile number provided, including messages sent by automated systems. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.
The phone number field is optional. You can create and use a LifeTLDR account without providing one.
b) By text
You may text START to +1 (737) 313-2400 to begin receiving messages.
Household members enroll individually
If someone adds you to their LifeTLDR household, that does not enroll you in text messages. You will receive an invitation, and you must provide your own mobile number and your own consent from your own device before we send you any texts. No one can sign another person up for LifeTLDR SMS.
After you opt in on the web, a verification prompt is sent to your mobile phone:
LifeTLDR: reply START to confirm household reminders for this number. Reply STOP to opt out. Msg&data rates may apply.
Once you reply START, you receive confirmation that reminders are active:
LifeTLDR: You're confirmed for household reminders and summaries. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on what is happening in your household and the notification settings you choose. You can expect approximately 3–15 messages per month. You can change or reduce your notification settings at any time in the LifeTLDR app.
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. LifeTLDR does not charge you for text messages, but your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates apply to messages you send and receive. Contact your wireless provider for details about your plan.
5. How to opt out
Reply STOP to any LifeTLDR message at any time. You will receive one final confirmation:
LifeTLDR: You're unsubscribed and will get no more texts from us. Reply START to rejoin or email howdy@lifetldr.com for help.
After that, we will not send you further text messages unless you opt in again. You can also turn off SMS notifications in your LifeTLDR account settings, or email us at howdy@lifetldr.com.
Opting out of text messages does not close your LifeTLDR account or stop your in-app notifications.

7. Supported carriers and delivery
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your wireless service provider and is not guaranteed. LifeTLDR is not responsible for messages that are delayed, undelivered, or delivered to a number that has been reassigned.
If you change or deactivate your mobile number, you agree to update it in your LifeTLDR account so that messages intended for you are not sent to someone else.
8. Privacy
Your privacy is described in full in our Privacy Policy.
We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your Personal Data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages. Your mobile opt-in data and consent status will not be shared with any third parties for their own marketing purposes.
9. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and the owner or authorized user of the mobile number you enroll. LifeTLDR is intended for adults managing a household; we do not knowingly send text messages to children.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted at this URL with the date it took effect. Material changes to the program will be communicated to enrolled subscribers.
